Having a terminally ill child is a
stress unlike any other. The treatment for Ewing's Sarcoma is so
intense that it can impact a parent's ability to work full
time. The chemo, radiation, surgery and
hospital stays are all consuming. While the foundation cannot
assist with relieving the stress of having a sick child, we can help
with some of the financial burdens.
Kory's Foundation was established to provide
financial support to families with
children who are suffering from Ewing's Sarcoma and receiving treatment in the state of Oregon.
It is not our policy to give cash donations. We prefer to provide support in
ways that give families more time together.
Where to start
Step 1: Have a member of your family contact our foundation.
Step 2: Kory's Foundation will send you a questionnaire to complete.
Step 3: Once we receive the questionnaire back from you, our board will meet to discuss how best to assist your family.
Funding
Kory's Foundation generates funds through private and corporate
donations. Fundraisers are held as needed. 100% of all contributions to the Foundation are
used to directly benefit the families we assist.
The next fundraiser is an oral
auction to be held at the Oregon Golf Club on Saturday, April 14,
2007.
